Paul
Wilson
BIOPaul@earthlink.net
Paul is
an Indiana native who has dedicated himself to prevention and
quality improvement on many, often avant-garde, fronts. His
undergraduate study was primarily physics and mathematics, with
a generous blend of liberal arts.
Subsequent entrepreneurial experience included co-founding a
preventive health clinic in Indianapolis in the early 1990s.
Paul seized opportunities in 1992 to form a political unity
in Indiana dedicated to prevention and proven solutions in government.
Eight years of this experience led to a run for Governor in
2000. Deciding to focus on a particular vexing problem, he formed
a broad-spectrum coalition of political innovators who have
worked constructively with elected officials for electoral reform.
His interest in quality for its own sake began with a quality
management job assignment in 1997 in the educational book publishing
industry, at which time he discovered that his various activities
shared a deep basis in long-established scientific principles
for continuous improvement, going back to W. Edwards Deming
and Walter Shewart.
All of
his activities led to the synthesis of B.I.O. principles in
1997.
Paul is currently an MBA student in Indiana Universitys
Kelley School of Business and a member of the American Society
for Quality.
